A risk that I took that I do not regret is going to the Rescue Mission for help with my drinking issue and getting some more teaching on the Bible and Christianity in general. I was able to meet a few friends and finally after 10-12 years I had my ministry up and running. Now, I’m so busy with it, I never get too bored, eventhough it gets much sometimes being the only person doing all this, but I have help in my Kenyan and Pakistani ministries. I’ve been preaching to Pakistan for month and half. I’ve also been doing some podcasts and writing on my website, this one. I felt I had to get away fom my lifestyle of drinking and going away from my faith in Jesus, I needed to get back to Him. Now, I’m back to work and that gets me even busier. I was off my podcasts for a month or so and I received feedback that it is missed and it has made an impact in people’s lives. So now, I’m back at it. I have plenty of ideas in my phone to last a little time, some light, some deep and thought-provoking.
So, having gotten help for my drinking, it has led me to better faith, more increased faith. And this is something that I definitely do not regret.
