So many have come
Leaving us numb
Many things they say
But there’s only One Way
Who is this ‘God’ above
Why, humans, does He love
At times they seem to need a shove
He sent many men
Some with a pen
Them, the people, did not heed
Then One came
Who was not lame
On Him they put the blame
It was the creed
For Him to bleed
There was need
For Him to bleed
He came from above
To give a greater Love
Our sins on Him were laid
The way to heaven He paved
With His dying breath
He saved us from Death
All because of
The Love of One
