Prophetic Commissioning Statement
In the silence before the dawn,
The Eternal One speaks,
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,
Named you for purpose,
Set you apart in my heart.”
With hearts awakened, we respond,
“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening,”
In humble posture, we tune our ears,
For Your voice, O God, is life to the weary,
Hope to the oppressed, and boldness to the faint.
In the year of Your holiness,
When all is laid bare before Your sight,
We linger at the altar,
Cleansed by Your grace,
Purified to carry Your message.
“Whom shall I send?” echoes through the chambers,
And with unwavering resolve we declare,
“Here am I, send me!”
To the lonely, the lost,
To the corners of the earth,
Bringing light into the shadows.
As You send us forth, O Lord,
We bear both warning and comfort,
For in this world of trial,
Your presence is our refuge,
Your truth our compass.
With every step, we proclaim our belonging,
In the family of faith, we are called together,
To stand as ambassadors of hope,
To speak love into brokenness,
Courage in the face of fear.
We are a tapestry of Your dreams,
Stitched together by Your hand,
In the power of the Spirit,
We rise and go,
Boldly stepping into the unknown.
Thus, we seal this sending:
As heirs of the promise,
Empowered by grace,
In servant-hearted humility,
We answer the call,
In Your mighty name, Amen.
