What’s the trait you value most about yourself?
I like the trait of working hard to advance Christ into the world.
Without Him in my life, I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I would have no purpose. No direction. No hope. No joy. No peace.
Because of all this, I work hard to tell people of His great love for us and all we have to really do is acknowledge Him as our Father, Teacher, Sustainer, Healer, Comforter, and most especially our Lord and Saviour.
For He has forgiven all our sins but one, that of unbelief, when we are presented with the facts and information about Him, why do we still deny?
Of course, I, too, had all the facts as well, yet still persisted in my disbelief. But, I am one who learns from experience, I need to do the work myself to know what I’m doing. The same with Jesus, I had to experience Him. I suppose that is what we all look for is an experience, a God-moment.
Perhaps that is why He said a wicked and perverse generation asks for a sign. He knew they would want proof of His Way. The same as in this day, if He should come again unexpectedly, even if a man, they would want either a sign or Scriptual proof.
So this trait of working hard to advance His Ever Lasting Kingdom is what I value most. I can not keep what gives me joy to myself when so many are miserable. And to present Him a way that is biblical and relevant, is my goal. Without judgment, without force. With compassion and understanding.
